Listening Course #3

HI!!

For this week's listening meeting, we carried out the teaching and learning process using Google Meet, during the learning session we discussed the previous material, namely the tracks that had been previously worked on. The lecturer asks about the meaning of the dialogue or audio in the track quis that has been previously given. Because most of us have forgotten the track. Miss played back the audio then we answered or explained the meaning of the audio. some of our friends take turns in answering or explaining it.


During the explaining session, many people scrambled to answer, some just listened. After all the tracks were explained, and also absent, we continued the learning process at Syam-ok. In Syam-ok we worked on two quiz tracks. The quiz we were working on was almost the same as the previous quiz, namely listening to audio and then answering questions according to the audio content.


Today's lesson was quite fun, and also because of our lecturers' relaxed nature, we weren't too strong in each of our study sessions. miss also does not mind if during the meeting our camera turns off. because the teacher also understands that it also interferes with our teaching and learning process, for example, the quota will run out quickly and the internet connection is not supportive

Where we reviewed two books that we had previously listed in the Whatsapp group. Listening Course #4

Hi!! At this listening course meeting, we did not have a meeting. This is because last Thursday, to be precise March 11, 2021, was the Isra Mi'raj holiday. So we just filled out the absences according to the schedule and then did the assignments in Syam-ok. The task is also almost the same as the previous tasks, namely listening to the audio and then working on the available quizzes. On this blog, I am not only discussing listening lessons but also about my activities until I upload this blog. The next day because I didn't have a class schedule, and it happened to be a weekend, my friend invited me to go out for a walk. We went to one of the most famous tourist objects in my village, namely Mentirotiku, Batutumonga located in North Toraja. Hi! At this meeting, we learned about Preview & predicting material. This is an important skill for a good reader. Preview occurs when we gather information about a book by examining the cover of the book. The purpose of this preview is to help us in predicting the contents of the book. In addition, previewing and predicting can make quite a significant difference. We can get an idea of what we are going to read, so we can process the information quickly. In this learning material, we are also directed to search for a book and then find out the contents of the book from its cover, and look for information about the title, author, and other important information. We also create podcasts with our podcast material derived from information from the books we read. We are also doing some exercises in Syam-ok on this material.
