Listening. Course #9

Hi!

In this week's listening course meeting, we didn't conduct meetings or our learning process didn't go through virtual meetings. Instead, we carried out the usual learning process through Syam-ok. After recording the attendance that has been provided in Syam-ok, we wait for the lecturer to upload and provide information to us to check the assignments we will do.
The assignment given is the same as before. In the form of a quiz with audio. Where we will hear a question and three possible responses. Then, we choose the answer that best answers the question. Our material this week on Essential Words. Eleven chapters are given, each section / edition consisting of ten tracks. Except for the eleventh part, there are 25 questions with audio available outside. Because the deadline is until Wednesday, I didn't do everything right away. And also when working on the problem we are given 2-3 opportunities to try again. But there are some parts I used the opportunity but the end result did not reach the specified target.

Hi! At this interpretive reading course meeting, we streamlined the MID Project - Making your Interpretative Readings Come Alive. Where we reviewed two books that we had previously listed in the Whatsapp group. The books I reviewed are The Things You Can See Only When You Slow Down by Haemin Sunim and Say What You Mean: A Mindful Approach to Nonviolent Communication by Oren Jay Sofer. For Making your Interpretative Readings Come Alive, there are steps that must be considered as well as the rules of interpretative reading. Listening Course #4

Hi!! At this listening course meeting, we did not have a meeting. This is because last Thursday, to be precise March 11, 2021, was the Isra Mi'raj holiday. So we just filled out the absences according to the schedule and then did the assignments in Syam-ok. The task is also almost the same as the previous tasks, namely listening to the audio and then working on the available quizzes. On this blog, I am not only discussing listening lessons but also about my activities until I upload this blog. The next day because I didn't have a class schedule, and it happened to be a weekend, my friend invited me to go out for a walk. We went to one of the most famous tourist objects in my village, namely Mentirotiku, Batutumonga located in North Toraja. INTERPRETATIVE READING Course #3

Hi! At this meeting, we learned about Preview & predicting material. This is an important skill for a good reader. Preview occurs when we gather information about a book by examining the cover of the book. The purpose of this preview is to help us in predicting the contents of the book. In addition, previewing and predicting can make quite a significant difference. We can get an idea of what we are going to read, so we can process the information quickly. In this learning material, we are also directed to search for a book and then find out the contents of the book from its cover, and look for information about the title, author, and other important information. We also create podcasts with our podcast material derived from information from the books we read. We are also doing some exercises in Syam-ok on this material.
